  • It is about knowing that once you say “yes” to writing your book, you will transform your life in ways you cannot imagine. You may heal yourself, face deep fears and find courage, connect to your highest good and integrity, claim your authority, break through to a new life path, experience heart break and heart opening, come up against your limitations, and do what you never thought you could—live more fully and authentically.

Shoshana Alexander and Alissa Lukara are both authors who have been transformed by the act of writing their books and have collectively guided hundreds of writers in developing and clarifying their projects and guiding their books into publication.

Here’s what Shoshana and Alissa will cover through interactive presentations and exercises, positive feedback and support:

  • Why write a book
  • What it takes to publish in today’s changing publishing industry
  • Dealing with fears, resistance and “writer’s block” and respecting yourself as a writer
  • Clarifying what your contribution is and the right form for expressing your written word and creative vision.
  • Deciding on the right avenue to publishing your book: publishing houses (from small to large), print-on-demand, self-publishing, e-book, blog, website
  • Honing your writing and organizational skills to fit your literary form and publishing goals
  • Key elements of a book proposal and query letter.
  • Tips on finding an agent and publisher.
  • Getting real about marketing. Developing a publishing “platform.” Sharing your gifts and message through publicity.
  • How writing and structuring a book reflects and guides your personal growth
